With a life of being brought up around animals ranging from the four-legged companion to equally companionable horse (and a lot in between!). Amanda excelled in the academic topic and graduated with a first-class honors in BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Science whilst also earning the Dengie Cup for top student within her cohort. Amanda’s desire to work in the chiropractic field then led her to pursue a MSc Animal Manipulation with the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in which she graduated with distinction.

After study Amanda, has led a busy and successful practice as an Equine and Canine Chiropractor and Soft Tissue specialist, whilst furthering her knowledge and skill set in soft tissue techniques, kinesio taping and Photobiomodulation therapy and keeping up to date with research within her field. Amanda, throughout her education and practice has always had a keen interest in research and has presented research at the Alltech Conference 2013 & 2017 and Horses inside Out 2019 (click here to access some of the research texts). Amanda is also in the process of launching a new research project with data collection to commence over 2023/24 that builds on from her previous research findings. Along with her busy practice Amanda, also teaches and examines on the MSc course for the McTimoney College of Chiropractic (University of Ulster) and is a dissertation supervisor.

It’s through this practical and education experience that Amanda, launched Fresh Perspective Education after noticing much of her clientele felt overwhelmed when trying to understand the intricacies of veterinary sciences, despite their best interest at trying to educate and do more for their animal’s health and welfare.

Fresh Perspective Educations ethos is to try keep animal science simple, digestible, and relatable to animal owners (big and small). Whether that’s understanding diseases, sport physiology (especially with the increasing canine and equine sports disciplines!) or management and rehabilitation mechanisms, we are here to help wade through the waffle of science talk. Fresh Perspective Education aims to work with a multimodal approach to provide content for all, through videos, articles, clinics and webinars we have you covered.
